with a tartelette in my belly, i fell asleep in the grass in a park today, just outside the louvre, right around here (see photo),  much like this man (from a previous day), but surrounded by sweet giggles from kids, barking dogs, and bits of cuddling. i hope you all had an equally relaxing sunday.

Hey Ladies, Quick question for you: how much would you spend on a handbag? What kind of bag does it have to be for you to spend a lot? (i.e. what are your primary concerns/requirements?)

I have an amazing Mulberry bag that I feel like I would spend anything to replace. It's the perfect carry-on bag for trips, and it doubles as my purse while I'm away. It carries anything and everything and can handle a ton of weight. Plus it has pockets! So, every picture you see of me while I'm away has my Mulberry bag somewhere in it!

Thanks in advance for your thoughts! Feel free to email me if it's easier :)

I have been obsessed with this particular style lately that I'm still trying to put my finger on - it's part whimsy/fairytale/fantasy and part dutch schoolgirl. It's the reason why I've been feverishly stocking up on Swedish Hasbeens and stalking Icelandic designers.

It's embodied, at least in part, by the spectator platform pumps and bizarre, carnivalesque mash-up fashion of Bernhard Willhelm Fall 2010 RTW:
