Topic “nyfw”
During NYFW, I attended two conferences for fashion bloggers. One was IFB (Independent Fashion Bloggers), and of course I can never say enough good things about its founder, Jennine Tamm, and her blog The Coveted.
The second was a conference on social media put on by Chictopia.
I quickly became obsessed with the bags, shoes, hats, and general style of these lovely ladies. (sorry for the strangely-lit photos!):

I have been obsessed with this particular style lately that I'm still trying to put my finger on - it's part whimsy/fairytale/fantasy and part dutch schoolgirl. It's the reason why I've been feverishly stocking up on Swedish Hasbeens and stalking Icelandic designers.
It's embodied, at least in part, by the spectator platform pumps and bizarre, carnivalesque mash-up fashion of Bernhard Willhelm Fall 2010 RTW:
