How to Throw a Vintage Tea Party!
I went to the most fabulous tea party yesterday! Hosted by Amelia of VintageVivant.com who is unbelievably sweet and whose eyelashes (and dress! and headpiece! and...) were utterly lust-worthy:
Amelia set up the most gorgeous display. Giant gumdrops,
tiny vintage tea-cups with heart-and-bird-shaped sugars (brought to us directly from France),
vegan waffles and jam,
flowers, champagne,and bubbles - that's right, *bubbles*!
The invitee list included my new BFFs Angel from Angeliska, Molly from Molly Crabapple, and the always-exquisite Gala Darling.
How cute are these girls?!
But perhaps my favorite look was that of this guy (Note: it was a girls-only party! Who knows where this guy came from? He was only there for a minute, but in that minute I got this priceless shot - note the pointed pinky and everything!):
So, ladies and gentleman, *that* is how you throw a tea party. Merci, Amelia!
